Moves With You

Sponsors

Put your name behind your whole community

When a local business or health partner sponsors a Moves With You program, their name is on the site every resident uses to sign up, at big days that draw a crowd, and in the reports city leaders read. It's goodwill people can see.

Sponsors are a boost, not a requirement. Every program runs without one.

An example

A year as presenting sponsor

Here's how a year could look for a local credit union that sponsors its city's program. Names and figures are for illustration only.

  1. Launch

    Their name from day one

The program site says “Riverbend Moves With You, presented by Riverbend Credit Union,” with their logo, on the page every resident visits to sign up.

  2. Spring

Face to face at a big day

The city thanks them by name at the Community 2K. Their staff hand out water at the finish line and walk with neighbors.

  3. Summer

    A homepage spotlight

A partner highlight on the homepage shares their free money-skills class for families.

  4. Every quarter

    Proof it's working

They get the quarterly report: 412 residents came to 156 walks and classes. 23 people checked “I work at Riverbend Credit Union.”

  5. Year end

A name people connect with good things

A full year of community events with their name on them, and the numbers to show their board.

Ways to sponsor

  • Presenting sponsor

One per program. Their name in the program's title and their logo on the homepage, all year.

  • Big-day sponsor

One community day with their name on it, and thanks at the event.

  • Partner

A partner highlight on the homepage and thanks at big days.

Examples only. Each city or workplace sets its own sponsor levels and prices.

Who often sponsors

  • Local businesses and employers
  • Hospitals and clinics
  • Banks and credit unions
  • Health insurers

How to bring in local sponsors

  1. List the businesses and health partners who care about your community.

  2. Share what sponsors get, and what they never see: no names, just totals.

  3. Offer a lead “presented by” spot and smaller partner spots.

  4. Thank them on your homepage and at big community days.

  5. Send each sponsor the quarterly report.

What sponsors get

  • Your name and logo on the program's site
  • A “presented by” line for the lead sponsor
  • A partner highlight on the homepage
  • Thanks at big community days
  • Quarterly reports with totals
  • Optional employee participation totals, never names
  • Names, emails or phone numbers
  • Who came to what
  • Health information (we never collect it)
